Today, we provide a rigorous, flexible liberal arts education to more than 7,900 undergraduate and 700 graduate students. Our 400+ faculty and 70+ degree programs in the natural sciences, social sciences, and humanities place the college at the forefront of fostering academic excellence, societal impact, and innovation.
Funds that need your support
- The Arts & Sciences Global Citizenship Innovation Fund covers a range of international travel expenses, such as airfare, lodging, meals, and the possibility of helping students cover the cost of obtaining a passport. By addressing these financial barriers, the college hopes to make studying abroad more accessible.
- Many A&S students are in a situation where they pay for their education out of pocket, which means many hold multiple jobs to stay in school. Often this leads to burnout, deteriorating grades, or worse, drop-out. The Arts and Sciences Emergency Support Fund helps alleviate the financial pressures of the student and allows them to focus more on their education and college experience.
- A&S Non-Profit Co-Op Support Fund provides support to students completing co-ops with local nonprofit organizations that offer meaningful professional experience and community service.
- Gifts to the UC Fund for Arts and Sciences are unrestricted funds that allow us the flexibility to support the areas of greatest need within the College.
