UC Day of Giving

At the UC College of Education, Criminal Justice, Human Services, and Information Technology (CECH-IT), we prepare students for meaningful careers that make a difference. Our mission is rooted in research, applied learning, workforce readiness, and community impact—from classrooms and counseling centers to public safety and prevention spaces, sport and exercise fitness facilities, and technology labs.  

Your support on Day of Giving helps remove financial barriers so students can fully engage in hands-on learning experiences, internships, clinical placements, and community-based work that prepares them to lead on day one. Scholarships are especially critical, opening doors for students who are committed to serving others but need financial support to stay focused on their education. 

Since joining CECH-IT in 2024, Dean Lisa Huffman has advanced a bold vision for the college that is in the community, for the community. This year, we are especially proud to highlight the CECH General Scholarship Fund, which provides critical, flexible support to students across all of our programs.
