At the UC Gardner Neuroscience Institute, world-renowned specialists deliver compassionate care to patients and families facing complex neurologic and psychiatric disorders. Give the gift of hope on UC Day of Giving by selecting one of the funds listed below. 

 
The Mitchell Daughters Stroke Survivor Assistance Fund: Resources that support stroke survivors and their families in navigating recovery — including essential equipment, transportation, and help with treatment expenses.

Alzheimer's Disease Center Fund: Contributions to the Alzheimer's Disease Center Fund improve the lives of patients by helping care teams identify the right treatment for the right patient at the right time. 

Precision Medicine Neurodegenerative Disease Fund: Gifts to the Precision Medicine Neurodegenerative Disease Fund support research focused on precision medicine and lifelong brain health. 

Mood Disorders Center of Excellence: Contributions to the Mood Disorders Center of Excellence fund enable us to innovate in mental health care, connect patients with optimal treatment, utilize big data to enhance outcomes, and train future leaders in the field.

Neuroscience Institute Discretionary Fund: From revolutionary technology to the recruitment of world-class faculty, supporting the Neuroscience Institute Discretionary Fund allows our leaders to prioritize ongoing needs. 


The James J. and Joan A. Gardner Family Foundation recently made a leadership gift to lead the charge in transforming our neuroscience inpatient care unit. Matching gifts to this fund provides access to a level of advanced care that is important not only to our patients with complex health journeys, but also to our Cincinnati community should anyone unexpectedly need this level of acute care.
