IvaDean Medical Student Scholarship Fund Match Met
Thanks to your generosity the IvaDean Medical Student Scholarship Fund match has been met. The College of Medicine Alumni Executive Council matched all gifts to the Fund, up to $2,500 and you helped raise a total of $5,000! THANK YOU!
Generations of medical students at the University of Cincinnati have one special thing in common—a woman who has worked in the Dean’s Office for more than 50 years, making sure “her kids” were taken care of as they studied to become physicians. The College of Medicine Class of 2003 used its class gift to start the IvaDean Medical Student Scholarship Fund as a tribute to this woman’s profound influence on medical students as an advisor, advocate and confidante. The scholarship honors IvaDean Lair and her role as “the person who has contributed the most to making medical school manageable,” according to the medical students she assists.
