Cincinnatus Scholarship Fund
The cornerstone scholarship program for incoming freshmen to the University of Cincinnati is Cincinnatus. The brightest and most promising prospective freshmen in all academic disciplines are selected to receive renewable awards totaling more than $22 million in University of Cincinnati four-year scholarships.
Community Service Requirement for Cincinnatus Scholarship Recipients
Service to the community, performed without thought of personal gain, is an important aspect of the Cincinnatus Scholarship Program. Cincinnatus is regarded as the ultimate model of selfless heroic deeds. As such, Cincinnatus and related scholarships (as well as many other UC scholarship programs) continue an on-going commitment in service to others that reaches past our campus boundaries to affect our neighborhoods, our city, our region, and beyond.
Student Need Scholarship Fund
Annually, over 8,700 undergraduate UC students have unmet financial need. Your generous gift to the Student Need Scholarship Fund provides need-based funding for qualified students. The funds are intended to supplement the financial aid package, not replace aid students have been awarded via other scholarships, grants and loans. Without your support of the Student Need Scholarship Fund thousands of Bearcats would be unable to afford to attend graduate from UC.
