Your gift supports the Gen-1/1MPACT House
The Gen-1 Living-Learning Community supports Pell-eligible, first-generation college students through high-intensity advising, academic courses, and co-curricular experiences to ensure their academic success. 1MPACT House is a Living-Learning Center that supports approximately 50 first-year students who are either first-generation, low-income, or underrepresented minorities.
Gen-1 and 1MPACT House students will:
- Experience a positive, nurturing living and learning community that supports academic and social development.
- Develop a supportive network of allies across UC’s campuses to provide academic, social and financial resources.
- Be educated with regard to the college culture in order to increase their chances of success in a post-secondary academic environment.
