The University of Cincinnati Sport Administration program, now in its 10th year, is focused on preparing students for a career in the sports field. This is a highly competitive industry where experience, professional development, and one’s professional network are as important as a degree. To that end, the Sport Administration program actively seeks ways to provide students with hands-on experience and opportunities to engage with industry leaders. We do this through internships, guest speakers, trips to industry conferences, event volunteering, and professional development resources such as resume reviews, professional head shots, and job search strategies.
The purpose of this fundraising initiative is to support our students in these efforts. This may take the form of off-setting student expenses to conferences or event volunteer experiences, to bringing in industry speakers from across the country, to hosting industry-related events such as career fairs, speaker panels, or professional development workshops.
