Ensuring the show will go on for CCM students
At the College-Conservatory of Music, the generosity of alumni and donors like you is helping bring our vision to life. Even during the COVID-19 pandemic, we’re not interested in the new normal; we’re pursuing the new excellent. Your gift to the Annual Fund for CCM will provide an immediate impact in areas where the need is greatest.
Many of our CCM students have been hit particularly hard by the pandemic, due to loss of income and opportunities from cancelled performances. CCM students need your support to help them fund the “extras” that come with an education in the performing arts and for the college to continue to provide these unique experiences within a highly creative and multidisciplinary artistic environment.
How can the performing arts thrive in a socially-distanced environment? While some of our teaching can occur virtually, there are many elements of a CCM education that require collaboration between human beings in a shared space. Funds are needed for technology to create high-quality broadcasts of performances which ensure the performing arts survive in a digital world. With your help, CCM can not only provide the performance opportunities our students need to succeed during a pandemic, but continue to lead, both onstage and on screen, as we look to the future of the performing arts.
