Transition & Access Program (TAP)

The Transition and Access Program (TAP) is a four-year residential college certificate program for young adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.  Students live, learn, work, and lead on UC campus and in the community. The cost for TAP is very high, and there are limited scholarships and financial aid for this program, so many students miss out on this great opportunity.

All students of all abilities deserve access to opportunities to further their education and achieve their goals.  Increasing the TAP into the Future Scholarship fund can give more students a chance to follow their college dreams.

TAP is NEXT. TAP embraces the university's strategic direction of Next Lives Here, breaking down barriers and providing access to opportunities.  TAP is making a positive impact on the world, creating an inclusive and diverse community.
