The Maple Knoll Nursing Scholarship Fund

By 2020, the number of people aged 60 years and older will outnumber children younger than five years. In 2050, 80% of older people will be living in low- and middle-income countries. The pace of population aging is much faster than in the past. The need for healthcare workers focused in this area will be significantly increased.

That's why Maple Knoll created an annual scholarship at the College of Nursing to be awarded to an undergraduate student pursuing a career (or having an interest) in geriatric nursing.  Preference shall be given to a student with demonstrated financial need.
