Darwin T. Turner Scholars Program

Celebrate 50 Years of Turner Scholars on Giving Tuesday

For 50 years, the Darwin T. Turner Scholars Program has been transforming lives, opening doors, and creating opportunities for students at the University of Cincinnati.

Founded in 1976 as the Minority Scholars Program, the initiative was created to expand access to higher education and support talented students in achieving their academic goals. Over the decades, the program evolved into the Darwin T. Turner Scholars Program, honoring the legacy of one of UC's most distinguished educators while continuing a commitment to scholarship, service, and success.

Since its inception, thousands of Turner Scholars have graduated from UC and gone on to become leaders in their professions, communities, and fields of study. Their success is rooted not only in scholarship support, but also in the mentoring, leadership development, academic excellence, and community that have defined the Turner experience for generations.

As we celebrate our 50th anniversary, we invite you to invest in the next generation of Turner Scholars.

Your Giving Tuesday gift helps ensure that students continue to have access to transformative opportunities that empower them to thrive academically, develop as leaders, and make meaningful contributions to the world around them.

Together, we honor 50 years of impact and help shape the next 50 years of possibility.

Make your Giving Tuesday gift today and help future Turner Scholars write the next chapter of this extraordinary legacy.
