Giving Tuesday

Giving Tuesday is a global day of giving fueled by social media and collaboration, celebrated the Tuesday after Thanksgiving.

Giving Tuesday will take place Tuesday, December 1, 2026 beginning at 12:00 a.m. EST and ending at midnight.

Make a gift online at uc.edu/givingtuesday by clicking the "Give Now" button at the top of the website. 

Yes! We need your help spreading the word about this. Use social media channels, emails, text and phone calls to help bring awareness to Giving Tuesday. For an easy way to share the event, you can become a Giving Tuesday Ambassador. By becoming an Ambassador you will have access to an easy social sharing tool that will allow you to share the campaign and track your contribution.

Yes, please share as much as you can about Giving Tuesday through your social media channels using #GiveWithHeartUC. When you share your custom Ambassador link you can track how many donors have made gifts because of you!

Your gift can be anonymous, simply check the appropriate box on the donation form.

You may designate your gift to any area of the university or UC Health that you are passionate about. You may also divide your gift among several funds. When you make your gift, you can select from a list of funds.

If you are not able to find the fund you would like to support, please select the cause, college or program of your choice, and select "Other" in the Fund Designation drop down menu, and type in the program and/or fund name you wish to support. We will ensure your gift is designated appropriately.

UC and UC Health employees can give via payroll deduction.

When you make a gift of $25 or more on Giving Tuesday, you will receive this year's collectible ornament (while supplies last). Be sure to select 'Yes' on the donation page when asked if you would like to receive the ornament. 

If your gift was eligible to receive the ornament, they will begin to ship the week of December 14. 

Yes. If you choose to receive the Bearcat ornament, only the portion of your donation that exceeds the fair market value ($6.50) is tax-deductible. Otherwise all gifts are 100 percent tax-deductible. After you make your gift, you will receive a confirmation email that can be used for tax purposes.

Yes. The minimum donation amount for online gifts is $25.
