As we prepare for our students to continue their learning, we now have an increased need for financial aid support. The pandemic has taken a significant toll on the local and global economy, changing the financial position of our current and prospective Bearcats. To ensure that all our students can continue enrollment and complete their degrees, we are asking for support to various scholarship programs.
Double Your Impact with a gift to the UC Fund for Scholarships
Annually, over 8,700 undergraduate UC students have unmet financial need. Your gift to the UC Fund for Scholarships provides need-based funding for qualified students and will be matched dollar for dollar (up to $5,000). The funds are intended to supplement the financial aid package, not replace aid students have been awarded via other scholarships, grants and loans. Without financial aid, thousands of Bearcats would be unable to attend UC.
Transform Lives with the Darwin T. Turner Scholars Program Fund
Gifts to the Darwin T. Turner Scholars Program will be matched by a group of esteemed Turner Program alumni and supporters, up to $8,750. The program's goal is to enrich the educational environment for undergraduate students by supporting the recruitment and retention of underrepresented groups with high potential for academic success at the University of Cincinnati.
Woman’s Club of the University of Cincinnati (WCUC) Scholarship Fund
When 25 gifts are made to the WCUC Fund, we will unlock a $1,500 gift thanks to the generosity of six WCUC members who pledged to support the cause. The Woman’s Club of the University of Cincinnati awards one or more scholarships to deserving female undergraduate students annually.
Cincinnatus Scholarship Fund
The cornerstone scholarship program for incoming freshmen to the University of Cincinnati is Cincinnatus. The brightest and most promising prospective freshmen in all academic disciplines are selected to receive renewable awards totaling more than $22 million in University of Cincinnati four-year scholarships. Service to the community, performed without thought of personal gain, is an important aspect of the Cincinnatus Scholarship Program. As such, Cincinnatus and related scholarships (as well as many other UC scholarship programs) continue an on-going commitment in service to others that reaches past our campus boundaries to affect our neighborhoods, our city, our region, and beyond.
