The New Home of Cincinnati Law

On September 12, 2022, an enthusiastic crowd packed a light-filled atrium to listen to speeches from dignitaries and witness a ribbon-cutting before a blast of confetti marked the grand opening of the UC College of Law’s new $45.6 million building. The state-of-the-art facility is located in the center of the Uptown campus and replaces the former building that once housed the Lindner College of Business. Planners reinvented and reconfigured the building producing a 116,735-square-foot structure designed to meet the technological and specialized needs for 412 law students and 78 faculty and staff.

Naming opportunities in the new building are still available and information can be found here: https://law.uc.edu/building/naming-opportunities.html

Empowering Problem-Solvers to Tackle the World's Challenges

For nearly two centuries, the UC College of Law has worked to meet and overcome some of the greatest challenges of our time — and now is no different. Thanks to the generosity of Law alumni and donors like you who are helping bring our mission to life, we are now poised to enact our boldest vision of the future.

Bringing a talented and diverse population to the College of Law is made possible by offering competitive scholarships and financial aid to deserving students. We need your support to ensure we have the resources to provide a highly rigorous academic environment alongside unparalleled real-world experiences.

Cincinnati Law is where passion and social ingenuity lead to personal success and service to others. It is only through the support of our donors that we can amass the capital needed to fully prepare future generations of students to become policy advocates, criminal justice reformers and business regulators.

It is essential that we support our Law students by retaining and encouraging the faculty and staff on whom we rely to shape a comprehensive, socially relevant, premier education worthy of national recognition.

Double your impact with a UC Day of Giving Match

  • Gifts to the Dean Verna Williams Student Scholarship Endowment Fund will be matched up to $3,500 by Tim and Eisha Armstrong. The Dean Verna Williams Student Scholarship provides scholarships to current law students with a preference for recipients who are underrepresented in the College.
  • Gifts to the Ohio Innocence Project will be matched up to $5,000 by an anonymous donor. The Ohio Innocence Project works to free every innocent person in Ohio who has been convicted of a crime they didn't commit. OIP’s work also includes helping develop and advocate for lasting criminal justice reform through legislation and education initiatives throughout the state of Ohio.
  • The Ohio Innocence Project at UC Law is celebrating their 20th Anniversary on Thursday, May 18 at Cincinnati’s Music Hall. The program will feature world-renowned author John Grisham and an afterparty with the Exoneree Band. Learn more about the event through our website: https://impact.uc.edu/OIP20thanniversary
