Message from UC Clermont College Dean, Jeffrey C. Bauer
Consistent support from University of Cincinnati alumni and donors like you brings our mission to life: providing student-centered undergraduate education and lifelong learning in an open-access, regional college environment.
UC Clermont is a place that ignites transformation — changing the trajectory of our students’ lives. This fall, there are more than 2,300 students enrolled at UC Clermont. Many are first-generation college students who need our collective support to help them feel connected with our Bearcat family.
The UC Fund for Clermont College provides the resources that allow us to respond quickly to developing needs, such as:
- The UC Fund for Clermont provides supplemental financial aid to keep at-risk students enrolled full-time and on track to complete their degrees; and provides instructional technology support to effectively access online courses.
- Gifts to the Sauls Stay in School Fund (UC Clermont’s Emergency Relief Fund) assist students in crisis with flexible, immediate aid for unexpected expenses like rent shortfalls, car repairs, or childcare that could derail students’ education.
- The Clermont Bearcats Pantry provides free food, hygiene items and cleaning supplies to UC Clermont students and alumni in essential need. There has been high demand for the Pantry during the pandemic and we have responded to all requests by placing custom grocery list for students and alumni to pick-up at their local store of choice.
- Annual scholarship awards from the UC Clermont Scholarship Fund allow students to dream without mortgaging their futures.
- The Frederick A. Marcotte Library Memorial Fund supports the UC Clermont Library in maintaining a state-of-the-art regional library that enables student research and facilitates student learning.
