Alex Yastrebenetsky and Karina Agabekyan have established the InfoTrust Foundation Scholarship fund to support University of Cincinnati students affected by the Russia-Ukraine war. Funds will provide affected students with holistic support to allow them to continue their education at UC.
"Originally from Kharkiv, Ukraine, I came to the U.S. 28 years ago to attend the University of Cincinnati as an international student. My spouse, Karina's family, came to the U.S. as refugees from Moscow 2 years later. Michael Loban, Chief Growth Officer and co-founder of InfoTrust, also moved to Cincinnati from Ukraine 22 years ago. We are fortunate and forever grateful that so many people supported us along our journey."
"We need the students impacted by this war to be able to continue their education; however, it takes incredible strength and courage to continue education in times of turmoil. Supporting students and providing them with the quality and values of higher education will set them up for success in changing the world. We invite our community to join us in supporting this effort."
