Lindner Women in Business

Lindner Women in Business (LWiB) is a UC organization focused on empowering members and encouraging their personal and professional goals. LWiB accomplishes their goal is by helping members discover their full potential though panels with industry professionals, career focused workshops, and community building socials. Besides bi-weekly meetings, empowerment day is LWiB’s annual end of the year event where local companies and UC faculty speak to members on being a woman in business.

Lindner Women in Business had made a positive impact on the UC community, especially in the Lindner College of Business. It helps give a voice to young women who will soon enter their professional careers. Through workshops, socials, meetings, and other events, LWiB empowers its members to take us space in the classroom and work force. By training young women to own their voice and talents, they become better coworkers, friends, and citizens.

The funds raised on UC Day of Giving will support Empowerment Day, as well as other membership events. LWiB uses funds to host informative meetings, with inspiring speakers and tasty food for members to enjoy. Empowerment Day is also packed with events that LWiB’s funds go towards, ranging from guests, food, and drinks, and more.
