The Jeffrey W. Bosworth Scholarship supports two vulnerable student populations at UC Clermont — veterans and first-generation college students. The scholarship was created in memory of and to honor Jeff Bosworth, who served a total of 28 years, combined active and reserves in the Navy. Jeff became the very "first" director of veterans affairs at UC Clermont and was an IT professor.
Veteran and first-generation students pursuing a college degree have unique needs that create numerous barriers to success, and this scholarship helps with their financial burden.
