As many of you may know, Dean Johnson is retiring after devoting his services to the College of Education, Criminal Justice, and Human Services for 30 years and serving as Dean of the college for the last 25 years.
During his time as Dean, CECH grew from 1,782 students, 84 faculty members to today boasting over 6,500 students with more than 150 faculty members and 5 top ranked programs according to U.S. News and World Report.
As Dean Johnson prepares to transition out of his role, he has identified two key areas of emphasis to continue to elevate our colleges’ and student’ success.

- Lawrence J. and Susan A. Johnson Scholarship Fund: This fund will continue Dean Johnson’s determination to keep student success at the center of CECH.
- Larry Johnson Public Entrepreneurship Fund: This fund continues Dean Johnson’s efforts and vision for bettering the community by supporting innovative services, programs, and community outreach projects within CECH.

- All gifts to the Greater Cincinnati STEM Collaborative will be matched up to $5,000 by Kelly Dehan. The Greater Cincinnati STEM Collaborative’s mission is to prepare students to join the workforce through connected, robust STEM learning pathways.
