Preparing Diverse, Empathetic Caregivers
At UC College of Nursing, the generosity of alumni and donors like you helps bring our vision to life.
The decade ahead will test the nation's more than 4 million nurses in new and complex ways. As the largest segment of all health care professions and the most frequent line of contact with patients of all backgrounds and experiences in an array of settings, nursing is well-positioned to reduce inequities and support people in achieving their full health potential. By strengthening nursing capacity and expertise, we can help prepare a nursing workforce ready to create and contribute to equitable health care accessible to everyone.
All gifts to the Student Belonging and Inclusivity Programming Fund will be matched up to $2,500 by an anonymous donor.
Additional Funds that need your support
- Gifts to the UC Fund for Nursing equip us with the resources needed to educate diverse, culturally sensitive nurses to graduate ready to act as patient advocates and promote health equity.
- Gifts to the International Nursing Fund supports undergraduate and graduate students in study abroad opportunities. Students participating in the college’s Global Program earn course credits while enhancing their cultural sensitivity and challenging their understanding of global health issues and disparities.
