Educating Outstanding Pharmacists and Researchers
At the James L. Winkle College of Pharmacy, the generosity of alumni and donors like you is helping bring our vision to life.
We are committed to providing a curriculum that offers diverse learning opportunities, representative of the patients we serve. Continuing this mission requires your support, as we set our sights even higher, building upon our current achievements.
To accommodate a changing educational landscape, we have instituted new programs, including distance-learning programs that are the first of their kind. Regardless of how we deliver rigorous education to our students, our core purpose remains to educate outstanding pharmacists and researchers.
I encourage you to support the following fund, which allow us to respond quickly to developing needs:
- Gifts to the Daniel Acosta, Jr. Endowment for Diverse Students in Pharmacy helps provide scholarships to students seeking a PharmD or Pharmaceutical Sciences degree from a diverse background, based upon factors, including, but not limited to, socio-economic status, parental education, cultural awareness, and history of overcoming adversity.
- Gifts to the Pharmacy Phamily Fund will support the purchase of RXPrep to assist the P4 students in preparing for their licensure exam.
- Gifts to the Steven A. Myre, PharmD Endowed Scholarship Fund honors Steven’s legacy and continue his work, enabling pharmacy students to pursue their dreams and make a positive impact on our world.
Vision: Lead. Care. Transform.
