BEARCAT BATTALION DISCRETIONARY FUND
The Bearcat Battalion is the foundation on which we produce and cultivate future military personnel. Our purpose is to ready our cadets for their future assignments by instilling preparedness in the line of duty and a clear understanding of their military mission.
Our cadets seek additional funds to participate in civic enrichment activities, such as local race events and marathons. Supplementary money could further develop our students’ UC experience by allowing them to be more involved on campus and in the outside community.
To enhance the final year as a cadet, the cadre wish to incorporate a Senior trip to Normandy France. This would include touring the Memorial Museum of the Battle of Normandy, visiting the D-Day beaches, and spending time at the Normandy American Cemetery. This unique experience would enrich the ROTC experience by having the cadets see firsthand one of the most significant locations in American history. Your donations can make this trip part of our program moving forward.
The Bearcat Battalion cadets are committed to selfless service for our country, becoming better leaders, and to be adaptive and ethical thinkers across the state of Ohio and the world. A financial contribution will assist in fostering a more advanced classroom experience as well as improve field training. Our goal is to strengthen the program and provide a top rate education that goes beyond course studies.
