Cincinnati Hillel is the epicenter of Jewish life on campus. We provide students with opportunities for Jewish education, leadership training, travel abroad, Shabbat and holiday celebrations, community service opportunities, and the Jewish community on campus.
Our work is essential for the Jewish students at the University of Cincinnati and the broader campus community. We are a nonprofit organization that relies on the generosity of donors and partners to fulfill our mission and provide a strong Jewish community for these college students at a time when many are away from their home community for the first time in their lives.
We provide a pluralistic Jewish community for students at UC, and we also provide programming and educational opportunities for non-Jewish students. We partner with multiple campus organizations to do joint programming (such as the AACRC, LGBTQ Center, SASA, Women's Center, and more) so that our students can meet people from all different cultures and teach and learn from their peers. We provide a safe space on campus for Jewish students when antisemitism is rising on college campuses all over the country, and we also give them a space to celebrate Jewish holidays and celebrations when they are away from their families.
