CCM Health & Wellness

Health and Wellness for artists at CCM supports students and faculty in their academic pursuits by promoting mental and physical well-being.

Health and Wellness for Artists offers college resource sessions, a Mind/Body skills course to teach students stress management and resilience, and a faculty work group to train course facilitators in mindfulness practices.

CCM provides its students with the education and skills to perform and produce at the highest levels. By supporting this fund, you can help ensure that the college remains equipped to address the unique mental and physical health challenges faced in high-paced performance careers, while investing in the faculty who guide them through their journeys.

Students enrolled in the Mind/Body course consistently share how rewarding it is to have this type of curriculum offered. As one current graduate student studying Voice shared, “Health & Wellness gave me an opportunity to press pause, slow down, and get out of the everyday schedule. It helped me give back to myself, which, in turn, made me a better student and performer.”

Mindfulness practices, such as those taught in the Mind/Body course, can improve mental health, reduce stress, and enhance academic performance. By investing in their well-being, you can help unlock CCM students’ full potential.
