Lindner Co-op fund supports and creates assistance for students who wish to pursue the co-op experience but have unique circumstances that need further innovative consideration. Recipients may include, but are not limited to students interested in international, project-based, or entrepreneurial co-op opportunities and students who need financial assistance in order to participate in the co-op program.
The co-op experience is what makes UC distinct from its competitors. Our students have an advantage over others in the job market because of their co-op experiences and can earn better jobs upon graduation. Continuing to invest in co-op is a way we are investing in all our students and allowing them to dream big and achieve more.
As Lindner moves towards a universal co-op requirement in Fall 2024, it is important that we remove barriers that may prevent students from completing co-op or internship experiences. Highlighting this fund will allow us to increase the support available.
